Freesat dish fitting advice required.

A bit of a random one, my mom wants a new TV. I've been tasked with finding it and am currently looking at both freeview HD and freesat HD built in.

She will need a dish installing to receive freesat (my preferred choice) but I need to know which direction in general the dish will need to be pointing so I can ascertain whether the dish needs to go on the back of the house (preferred) or front.

I don't remember seeing many others round there so can't get a reference from them really.

Is there any site that could tell me or can I get google maps to tell me which direction the back of her house points. All help much appreciated.

Hope that makes sense(it does to me)

try this .............this
Align the satellite dish to point at the Astra 2/Eurobird group of satellites (28.2º East) - a compass and satellite finder is handy for this. It may also be useful to have someone inside checking the signal at the receiver to ensure you have got the right satellite!

Perfect, repped. Thank you both.

Great, I can mount it on the back of the house, just about.
