Frothy milk for Cappucino coffee

I was experimenting with ways to make frothy milk for coffees without having to buy expensive gear. Now I am aware that I haven't split the atom here but it is an achievement.

Heat milk in a microwave for two minutes, pour milk into a large vessel ( I used the the plastic jug that came with the hand blender) belnd milk for about one minute with hand blender and then put it back in the microwave for one minute. It comes out like a meringue, with lovely big peaks.

Make coffee (all I had was instant) put one and half teaspoons of onstant into a cup, pour on enough hot water to mix the coffee, usually a third of the cup, it needs to be very strong and then pour on the milk.

what i do is at the work pantry is:
1. heat milk in microwave
2. meantime make coffee
3. whisk with battery-whisker freebie from baileys, till it froths
4. slowly pour milk into coffee in mug, taking care to have a good head of froth come on last
5. sprinkle some french hot choc topping

Yeah its made with PROFIT.

Cappuccino is a mixture of espresso, a little steamed milk and a little milk foam. The milk/foam ratio is up to you what you enjoy most. Some like a thick layer of foam while others just want foam as a garnish on top. Mix as you please.

If you have one of those Bodum coffee jugs (or similar!) just fill with warm milk, then foam up using the thing you push down. Just go up and down with it. Frothy milk in no time!
