I've always wanted one along with a sit down galaxican game but my girlfriend doesn't seem to think they will look as nice in the house as I do :(

Never had a gambler as i always thought it a bit tacky.

I'm tempted to get one. Think of it as an enjoyable piggy bank, with the odd prize thrown in. Good for saving money. Plus visitors may also put some money in your piggy bank :-D

ARE YOU AN MP OR A DRUNK LOL

What would be the point of having a fruit machine in your home?

It would only be paying out what you put in (and you would have the key). Arcade unit I could understand.

If you want one just to play the reels / games, download an emulator. They're just as much fun without costing anything:

I went to a house party once, this guy had a swimming pool, tennis court and a massive house with a games room was a load of fruit machines that used 1p and 2p pence pieces to play. Had a one arm bandit too with a pool table in the middle.

says the man who collects jukeboxes!

They go cheap becuase you need a gambling license to sell them legally and you cannot have it pay out money at home where visitors can use it as that is against the law as well gambling act no license etc; so like above I went for a Pinball table (that last year was removed from requiring a license to sell, as it is no longer classed as a gambling machine and Stern no longer have to put a skill post in for the UK market).

Liddle ol' me
says the man who collects jukeboxes!

Yeah, collects them in a van:lol:

I only do that to help out the father in law as he's near retirement age and his knees are ****** from a motorbike accident he had when he was younger.

I have one in the games room, with a jukebox and 1980's 39 game space invader. I am not on it all the time but still enjoy playing it, and it does work as a piggy bank, make sure you get one with loads of features, and who cares if the friends or nephews win a couple of quid out of it if it makes them happy

my mates have got one in their bar in their back garden
