Actually on the images? because if the date is set (in the camera) then i think that information is stored with the image when loading it onto your computer.. as its saved usually as a jpg, so this can be viewed by just clicking the image. (as long as you dont change anything in such programs as photoshop because it alters it.)...

If there is a way for your camera to add this, it should say in your manual..or hint at it..otherwise...

If your camera doesnt have the option of having the time stamp on the actual image (like older cameras) .. I've read there are programs that can.. Like this and this

Hope thats sort of helpful.

yeah cheers, looks like you can only print the date on the photos if you connect it to a printer, doesn't look like there is any way to upload it to my computer with the date on them :-(

Have you updated the firmware on yours? On my original firmware it definitely had the time/date in the corner of all snaps as I remember spending ages looking through that clunker of a manual for how to turn it off. Had mine may last year and the firmware update was around march april i think on mine.

yeah i recently updated the firmware, seems strange that you can see the time/date on the view finder but there isn't an option to have them there when you upload them to your pc

i have the 5700 and i can do the time stamp on mine ok, i didnt upgrade firm ware but doubt i ever will since looking at the firmware update only real advantage it says it gives is a upgrade on memory capacity on memory cards it accepts. however i am currently using a 8gb microsd in mine with a sd adapter.

though cant comment on anyone elses. depends where you get them from and when they did the upgrade.
