Thinking of selling some books on there but cant work out how it works.

One of the books I have is this one

One seller is selling for £1.18 with free delivery. How is this possible?
Postage even 2nd class is £2.61

Anybody ever used this service?

i was looking at this last night but dont really understand. amazon ships your item to your seller aswell as packs the item, there are fees which amazon charge for keeping your items in their warehouse etc but dont know if it will work out cheaper as it depends how long your product is stored in their warehouse. But heres the bit i dont get, it would cost me e.g say £3 to send p&p the item to amazon in the first place so not worth it unless i am understanding this wrong

Its basically companies/taders letting amazon handle the payment and shipping of a product instead of just payment.
