Galaxy Note- Wifi issues

Hi.

I purchased the Note last week and very pleased with it i have to say. Last night i came across a problem i am hoping to be minimal.

All week my Home WIFI has been connecting no problem, been working super fast and great. last night i lost WIFI connection but in the settings it was still showing as connected. I was receiving a nmessage saying " No Network, Please retry etc" so i disconnected Wifi and re conected and it worked fine.. for about 10 minutes then it went off again and it was like that all night and this morning.

3G works fine.

Anybody have any ideas?? At work now but when i get home i'll disconnect the Virgin Router and reboot it and if that doesnt work im going for a factory reset!

    I'm actually probably getting one of these tomorrow. Aside from your wifi issue, what do you think of it? Would you recommend?

    Have tried turning it off and on yes! Also tried factory reset.I dont actually think its the phone i think its my Home BB that is the problem as i have had it on in work for last 2 days and no issues at all.

    What do i think of it- I think its a great piece of Kit. I seriously would not go back to a smaller phone again. I've had an Iphoen for last 2 years be it the 3GS but this pi55es all over it in my opinion.
    if you get it on a good deal defo go and get it!!!

    a fix for many people is to give the phone a static ip address, it's under advanced options, if you'd rather there are apps to do it

    "wifi static" is probably the best app

    also try using an app called "wifi keepalive" again there are a few, i use "regpon wifi keepalive"

    It is a Super hub yes!! It connects but drops the connection intermitantly! Its quite annoying!! - Did you manage to sort it?

    Hi try changeing the channel to 8 in superhub "settings" so it looks like this

    SSID:
    Region: GB
    Channel: 8
    802.11 mode: 145 Mbps
    802.11N Band: 2.4 Ghz

    I to had issues with devices failing to connect,esp "phones" 3 hours later all sorted not had one drop out for a long time 4 mob phones wii ps3 3 computers,,, plus iv`e done reformat`s on 3 laptops in the last 7 weeks once done thay all contected to my superhub to update the laptops,,,,, by chaning the channel should help with the Galaxy Note Wifi issues.
