Galaxy Tab used as a "Tablet"?

Hi can someone help with this one?

Have been wanting to get a graphics tablet such as Bamboo / Wacom (deals been on Hotukdeals before) to be able to write and make visable on a computer screen for say giving a presentation (not powerpoint) / illustration of how to do something requiring working out, which just displays any handwriting done on the tablet. I have the P1000 version and have the basic apps so was wondering if it can be used as a tablet like the Wacom tablets? Will it needs software, stylus/pen or is only touch screen possible.
