Game.co.uk Issues! Any help would be welcome!

Back in February, i preordered Battlefield 3 with Game.co.uk, however, i cancelled all my orders with them in june when their delivery service began to take longer than jersey based retailers. I telephoned to confirm all my orders were cancelled too.

Today though, i received an email saying thank you for your order of Battlefield 3. Upon checking my account, they have reactivated the order even though i cancelled all orders and removed my card details months ago.

I telephoned the bank after promptly cancelling it again and they confirmed that game have marked 39.99 on my bank account. The bank says they can't stop it. Surely this counts as an unauthorised transaction?

    I've heard of Game taking payment early, but considering you cancelled the order they shouldn't of taken payment...

    When you did cancel, were you given notification about it? an email perhaps? or sign-in account details acknowledging this?

    Best to contact Game, and present any proof that you cancelled it and demand a refund.

    I cancelled back in June before they changed the site. When
    I noticed they reactivated the order today, i cancelled it again and received a cancellation email saying they hadn't debited my account yet the bank is saying they are.

    Before they changed the site they didn't notify you if you cancelled an order so i have no proof.

    Have you got it in writing from Game that you cancelled before ?

    Yep it said cancelled in my profile and a customer service rep confirmed this when i telephone back in june.

    I haven't any written confirmation from Game though, as back then they never gave you any when you cancelled an order.

    your cancellation should of been logged when you made it, so calling them and highlighting that you have cancelled it should clear things up hopefully.

    if it isn't resolved then, you may have to wait for the game to be dispatched and return it instore or by post.
