If you turn your PS3 on and it updates how would you know what its updating it doesn't tell you?

You can check online what the updates are for though. And that is correct if you dont update you cant play online.

I got mine from Gamestaion but if Game are doing it i am going to have a go with gamestation now

how far back can this go - I purchased my PS3 over a year ago from my local GAME store.
Do peeps think its best to email GAME directly? Im sure my local store manager wont role over.
It would be good to some sort of well worded email that we can all use.

I would send a link to the Maxconsole page too, if they can refund one, why not all??

would your console still need to be under warranty for the retailer to care?
