Just a quick heads up anyone who are looking to take up the killzone3 or bulletstorm trade-in offer before the 10th march. The offer will only apply if you bought the game online and not instore. If you bought instore you will only be offered £30 not £35 credit. This has come from their head office.

Probably a good idea to state that information in this dead thread (or provide a link to this "Misc" thread):

Trade In Killzone 3 For Bulletstorm ,Get Game and £2 *Instore Credit* @ Game

as the earlier deal thread has now been expired...

EXPIRED - Killzone 3 (PS3) & Bulletstorm (Xbox 360) £4.99 at Game (Buy either title for £39.99 and get £35 back if you trade-in by March 10th)

The point is whenever you see trade-in offers for GAME you must buy the game online through their website and not through one of their stores just a warning for future promotions.

Sorry, I thought your thread description was regarding a specific promotion (as named).

Are you an employee of The Game Group?

Why would the high street stores actively promote buying from the online (mail order) business (when the two are run as separate concerns although you can collect & return goods to the stores & use GAME Reward Card points during transactions at either)?

Are you expected to take a delivery note or an e-mail order confirmation into a high street store to demonstrate a similar (not necessary, the same) item was bought at GAME.co.uk?

(For example, buy one from GAME.co.uk to keep, buy many from somewhere cheaper to trade-in)

Thats my point i spoke to the head office about an hour ago and they said in the t.o.s. it was only if you bought the game online not through a store.

It turns out the GAME store does not have access to a computer so they dont know what promotions on their site being offered.

...and the representative you spoke to confirmed this was the case for all future promotions? Or is that you reading between the lines of what you discussed or extrapolating on what was said?
