Having been on the lookout for a HyperX Cloud 2 headset for a while, when GAME reduced the red and black one on Friday I bought it as I had a couple of quid left on a reward card. When buying it I topped up the remainder with my bank card and and went ahead.
On the Monday I received an email notifying me that the headset was out of stock and that I would receive a full refund. Disappointing, but not too big a deal.
The headset was in stock at Amazon (although more expensive) so I logged into my GAME wallet to withdraw the money. Slight issue. I couldn't find an option to withdraw my balance. Not too worried I got onto the live chat with GAME only to be told that there is no option to withdraw back to your bank, and that "they have plenty of other headsets available". I thought I kept my cool quite well, but apparently not as the **** on the live chat hung up.
If anyone has any advice on what to do next i'd be grateful, but if not I just want to warn people not to use GAME at all preferably - but if you must don't use the GAME Wallet.
