We are very sorry to say Gamingextreme.co.uk has had to shut it's doors due to the struggling climate over the last few months.

Being let down by the manafacturers on many occasions didn't help us, which was unfortunately out of our control.

We have tried everything we can to solve this but we are sorry to say we have not been able to.

If you have bought an item just recently your orders will be shipped to you. If we don't send out your order we will refund your payment within 30 days.

Regarding Wii Fit - all customers will be refunded in due course as soon as possible.

For all enquiries please email : [email protected]

I ordered a Xbox controller recently, hadnt been dispatched and they have taken my money. Hopefully will be refunded but just emailed to check.

Just thought i would alert people.

The Reason GamingExtreme has withdrawn is that they are fraudulent scammers who have conned a lot of people out of a lot of money via their website. Trading Standards were/are in the process of taking legal action against them and as a result they have shutdown their website and decided to run without paying back all of its customers.

So beware of GamingExtreme.

I ordered a Wii Fit back in MAY this year and still havent received, nor have I received any refund either. So called Marky boy Warren (The owner) ignores all communication communication from customers and some customers had resorted to calling the company next door to him just to try and get a way thru!

He also deleted my account information from his online system to stop me accessing my account on his website. But tough to him on that one as I still have all the emails and bank statements of the item ordered and payments made clearly to GamingExtreme as it says on the banks system.

I wouldnt hold out much hope if you havent had a refund yet. The trading standards court officer who is dealing with my case asked me to call them tomorrow regarding the notice on the website as it may spell the end of all hope for those who have paid but not received their orders.

If you google the company name you will see that there are several other feedback forums regarding GamingExtreme where customers had aired their grievances about GamingExtremes dodgy trading.

I've now resorted to using only a credit card for all online sales now as companys are becoming more and more unreliable and customer service becoming more substandard. At least that way i wont have to make numerous calls and emails to the company, just call the credit card company and pursue them as the seller.

Thanks for that. I doubt very much I'll get my money back tho, but at least if I register it with the small claims court then he'll have a CCJ against him which will hopefully hamper him and save other people from getting fleeced by him in future. :)

Just an update folks. I've managed to get a refund via my Bank Debit Card (Barclays). Highly unusual as it was outwith the 120 day rule and I was initially turned down, but I complained to no end and persistently emailed complaints and the FSA.

On 23rd Dec Debit Card Services refunded me my £69.99. A result for the customer. I'd definitely recommend those who have paid via Debit Card do the same. Only took me 3 months of complaining! lol but at least I got my money back eventually.

I was looking forward to taking the owner to court as well! Now I will have to stop the case for legal action against them.
