Gauging Interest - Banned Xbox 360 Premium

Some may have seen my other thread - was recently banned from xbox live.

Now after upgrading TV to a HD Ready LCD I'm considering an Elite. So is there much demand for a banned 360 Premium?!

It was brought Sept/Oct time - everything in excellent condition, would come with all leads, one wireless controller and an Official Advanced RGB scart. Could even provide a Samsung (Kreon Flashed) DVD ROM if needed.

Any ideas how much I could expect to get?

Trade it in somewhere [not sure if anywhere takes banned consoles]?

or stick it on ebay..

I doubt any big chains would take them.

There is a little store in Cambridge that might help, i'll ask tomo, certainly alot easier than Ebay.

You could use it to "test" new games on before you buy them
#4
You could also try popping it in the paper... www.adtrader.co.uk is just one...

Thanks for all the suggestions -

It would be handy for all my extensive testing, however need the money from the console really.

Ad-trader also good idea- just I wouldn't have a clue on asking price?

What's the lowest you'd be happy to sell for? :)

£130-150, seem fair?

Might get a bit of hassle saying this, but why dont you take it back to the store you got it from(if the seals are intact dunno what 360''s are like) and say it isnt working, and if it doesnt have seals take the top off and disconnect something like dvd drive so if they test it they will just give a replacement

But to get inside you'll be taking the void seal off so it wont work ryouga.

I believe (I didn't mod it myself) when flashing it, the warranty seal gets broken. Also its quite a nice idea - but I want the Elite for HD Gaming. If I got £150 for it then £70 would get me an Elite + some games, which would sort me quite nicely.

Might even be better off if I can find a slightly dodgy shop to trade it in.

Looking back at previous threads £150 seems a good asking price.

I think that's a fair asking price :) Don't forget to mention it's only a few months old in the advert & hasn't had any red light issues. Start off at £150 if you're happy with that & if you have no interest after a week or so then drop the price a bit. Lots of luck :) x

And of course you'll tell em its been chipped, been banned from Xbox live (so its useless for online gaming) and its got no warrenty as thats voided as soon as its opened up. :whistling:

Its not a fair asking price at all...... arcade consoles are currently £149.99 brand new.

The Arcade doesn't have a hard drive, the one I would be selling has, but no xbox live.

£150 came from looking at previous sales on here and ebay.
