Hoping someone can help.
I set up a site with MS Office Live and have went thru the procedures to list it onto Google, MSN and Yahoo.

This was months ago but none of these search engines are picking up my site and I'm really desperate to be a millionaire. Any help would be appreciated.

I have never submitted a site to a search engine in my life but have pretty good positions/page ranks on em all. You just have to make sure you have a good SEO score and try get backlinks on 'good' sites (if I add a link to my site it gets spidered & on google within days usually, but I charge for the privilege :P). You can check this site to see your SEO score and page rank etc: http://whois.domaintools.com

Thanks Starlet, my site gets 68% SEO - am guessing that is not too bad. However there are no Metatags. Guess this might be what is stopping it being top of the list on google :) How can I add them, as I said before, I used MS Office Live.

It might not be as good but it's ok.

If you part of another forum that is on google in your sig put your website URL in and when you type it up on google and it should come up.

Well it worked for me.

Hope it helps.

Your website URL has been removed though, as we don't allow self promtion here, sorry about that.

On the MS Office Live site builder, I can't see anywhere to add the metatags. Does this mean that my hopes of being a millionaire are over ?

Whois for HotUKDeals shows a related site called edealsuk.com..... never heard of it!! And their HMV cashback only shows 3%... compared to 10% from other cashback sites!

I'm guessing edealsuk.com is something to do with the referral links here?

No, I just mentioned it as I saw it on that page.

I'm guessing its because it contains the words "Deals UK" that it has come up as related!

Can't really help ya with that because I have never used any kind of site builder, always been a notepad girl...but surely there must be some way for you to just manually alter the code?

At the end of the day, I don't think Meta tags are all that important...just from personal experience, but all the web dev sites say you need em...so it's better to have them if you can.

Any SEO expert will tell you don't use a free submission form, let Google find it by linking to it on other sites
