Get your topcashback paid as tesco clubcard points

Hi,

I logged into topcashback last night to check if I had any earnings to withdraw and noticed that they have a new payment option - tesco clubcard vouchers.

Additionally, they give a 5% bonus when withdrawing this way, so you get even more clubcard points.

Note that there is a limit of £50 cashback being converted to clubcard points each year.

Example: £10 in cashback will convert to 1050 clubcard points. The main benefit being that these can subsequently be converted to £42 worth of e.g.pizza express vouchers!

What a shame this is in misc!! This is deal of the year for me - to be effectively able to triple/quadruple my cash is far better than many other Tesco Clubcard 'deals' that I've seen posted in the past. I just found it on TCB myself, and couldn't believe that it hadn't been posted on HUKD as I can imagine that this is of enormous benefit to thousands of people but I bet they've all missed it because it's been moved.

Mods... any chance of this getting moved back to the Deals pages, or a new 'Deal' being allowed, because this is quite a big bonus for loads of people, and we've had loads of Clubcard deals on before that have gone scorching?

Where is discretion??? oO ... whilst this may not be an official HUKD "deal", it really ought be to to get MASSIVE HEAT - to me that's worth £150 of Eurotunnel tickets for just £47.69 of TCB £s and I will certainly convert in preference to an Amazon voucher!!! To many this deal is worth £210 for just £50 of TCB £s... is easily as good as many of the best HUKD deals, this really needs to be EXTREMELY HOT 8) ... c'mon Mod???

^^^What the point of "massive heat"? People who looking, will find what they need.^^^
Few people will find Misc let alone click on the Other tab (generally we're "lazy" at delving deep in to websites)... whilst Deals are headlined very good "More" links should also headlined on the main page - IMO people are missing out on a potentially VERY valuable ClubCard Deal without having to spend an extra penny at TescooO

Great deal, *Heat*

Just found this out myself and thought I'd have a look to see if it had been posted already. It's a shame it was moved to misc as I doubt many people will realise. I've just ordered my payment in vouchers, will probably save them to use as 4x their value or at the very least twice the value when they do instore promotions. What with the easy TCB to be had on the new snap and save it wont take long to reach the £50 limit though, I've already got over £50 sat in the Amazon fund so thought I'd give this a whirl!

Its seems that the 5% bonus on Amazon vouchers has gone now too - good deal with Clubcard rewards though
The option was still there for me today, I just happened to choose the clubcard option though this time.

"not really a deal"? Please clarify and provide details of a better deal for the purchase of clubcard points

Great....thanks for this. Had £49 to be paid. This will help go towards a hotel stay later in the year, making it £200 worth of vouchers with various hotel brands. Thanks again, op.

Glad some people have noticed this! Shame it isn't in deals where it would be seen by more people. Anyone posting a deal where topcashback applies, it would be good to mention this in big letters! Would be great to get people aware of it!

Damn great find.
Just found out a pub I used to go to a lot has a x4 trade up. With 2 for £6.99 that's £1.75 in vouchers for a meal out. Even with a drink each its cheaper then the chippy.

So with Snap and Save you can effectively buy Tesco points which can be then tripled, even Quadrupled. Maybe a MOD can explain how this is not a deal to me it seems like one of the hottest on this site for a long time.

Agreed! I clicked 'report' on the thread to highlight that it had possibly been wrongly moved but didn't get any response. Perhaps we should all just spam the Deals board with a copy of this post until it finally gets noticed!!

Problem is - if it gets too popular TCB or Tesco might pull it.

Although it is only up to £50 a year, so will probably not affect Tesco's budget too much.

BTW - the 5% bonus on Amazon is still there. Someone earlier said it had been pulled.

Yep, I claimed £120 of Amazon from them yesterday after NPower finally paid out £101 after a year of waiting. Love2Shop still there too, but I think I'll be focussing all my efforts into getting £50 worth on each clubcard account from now on!

Out of interest has anyones points appeared on their statement yet? All emails say "your cashback won't be shown as Tesco Clubcard Points on your Tesco Clubcard Account until 4th March 2013" but nothing yet...

I checked last night and nothing, however just checked and they are now showing! Good news!

Also I am gonna add something later when I am awake regarding withdrawing from topcashback in clubcard points. It seems that only full cashback amounts can be withdrawn in this way. I.e if you earned £60 cashback in one transaction it cannot be withdrawn as clubcard points. This because it is over the £50 limit and the single cashback earnings cannot be split and withdrawn partially in clubcard points and partially e.g. Cash
Therefore probably a good idea to think about withdrawing nice whole numbers that so that you can easily get the full 50.
