Getting a overdraft with my bank acc

Hi ive been with my bank (Barclays) for 2 years now but have no overdraft, i wasnt offered one due to my poor credit rating, would it be worth me asking for one now as ive had no trouble with my bank and my wages go in every month and havcent had any trouble with barclays...

i think they re-evulate your account either every 6 months or 12 months. so i def would, if you havent gone overdrawn at all you should be able too. i asked for one about five years ago. i also didnt have good credit at the time and was offered a small one, after 12 months i got offered a larger one. def wouldnt hurt too

If you log into online banking, you have a pre approved offer tab on the right hand side. Click that and see what it says. All else fails go into branch and ask.

ditch barclays and switch to Smile or co-op. £500 overdraft as standard.

consistently voted one of the best online banks. Can use any Post offices for branch activities
