i kinda ordered a projector from a company
i went through the pay stages and my security code didnt work after a few reviews of the projector i decided on not going through with the order, because visa identification didnt work i assumed the order didnt go through.
however it did go through
upon realising this i phoned thre company up and cancelled the order-
projector still came
Parcel force came and picked up the projector

after 3 months i still havent been refunded ihave lost the delivery note
i did speak to them over a month ago and said they would send a cheque but still haven't recieved it.

question why the bank allowed payment to go through despite it failing security checks

Send them a recorded letter stating you have returned the projector but had no refund, tell them you need the refund made within 7 days or you will launch legal proceedings through the small claims court

I would be well miffed if that happened (as anyone could have used my card and made a purchase)

Contact your bank and say you never authorised them to take payment?

Call credit card company... the magic word is "chargeback" and they will know that the CVV2 check failed so the supplier should never have processed the payment.

why would you have even signed for it? should have just refused delivery


you need to find that courier return notes asap or you could find yourself paying for something you will never have


really dont understand why you have waited 3 months

But they did...and accepted delivery of the item.

Speak to Consumer Direct - 08454 04 05 06. Might be able help you bit more.

its a bank i hardly use
they keep saying the cheque will be in the post
i would have expected the money to be redopisted in the bank that wasnt
