I'm using hdmi, no problems.

Ok wen you turn your ps3 on, hold down the power botton for 5 seconds, it will reset the settings for display, and select HDMI, it should fix it
#3
i selected hdmi when i first turned the ps3 on
#4
still fuzzy? What HDMI settings you using? 720p or 1080i? I recommend 720p for gaming tho
#5
well i ticked all the boxes apart from 1080p

should i just tick the 720 one?
#6
there is a big problem here, it's a ps3

nah aslong as 1080i is unticked it should be fine, it could be to do with the tv settings, I have a sony TV, each thing I plug in has different settings for color, sharpness etc, Mine looked awfull untill I sorted it out, You could have a look into that, and try and copy your 360 settings on the tv for the ps3

im using a 4.99 hdmi lead, could that be the prob, just tried it in 720p,still looked bad
#9
It shouldnt make a huge difference unless the cable is long, it could be fualty, but doubtful, were did u buy it from?

#13

#14
Mine has all gone in ok tonight as i got one today and no probs with it, i was gobsmacked at how ace the graphics were.

Samsung LE37R88BD 37" HD Ready digital LCD TV

i might just get the component lead as i used the component lead on my 360 on this tv and that was fine
#17
it could be the lead, I mean i got 360 and ps3 on my Sony tv, PS3 uses HDMI, 360 uses Component, PS3 seems abit better color, but thats all really, aint much difference for me, give it ago tho, see if u can borrow a friends or somting
#18
could it be cos im using the 3rd hdmi socket?

Yes we know you're a fanboy!

Have you tried it with the bog standard scart lead to make sure its not the PS3 itself? I know the graphics wont be as sharp but they may show same lagging, fuzzy look
#21
Did you try putting a DVD in...
#22
yes tried a normal dvd and that looked fuzzy, like on wwe game the wrestlers themselves dont look very sharp, the menus etc are fine but the game itself looks bad and sluggish, looked far better on my 360
