Who believes in Ghosts?

In my own opinion, when you die you die and thats it, there are no ghosts.

I know people have claimed to have seen this and that but why are there never any caveman ghosts, dinosaur ghosts....etc?

what dyou think?

Because you can see right through them !

im not sure!!!

I was sceptical until...one morning after sunrise. I was in bed, woke up and thought I saw an old lady sitting in a rocking chair. I quickly turned over and faced my hubby hiding my head under the duvet cover. Too terrified of what I saw. I think I was thinking that maybe I dreamt it all up.
At the same time my hubby (who had his back to me) then turned over and asked me what I was doing over there. I popped my head up from beneath the covers and he too got a shock.
When I asked him what he had seen, he replied that he had seen a figure in the same direction and thought that it was me.
Don't know about the old lady bit...I was about 20 at the time..lolz.
But it freaked us both out.

ps: there was noone else in the room and the door was locked. I got up and checked too!!!

There never seems to be any insect ghosts.

You think you'd get plenty of ghosts at battery farms and the like.

There's definitely ghosts among us...and from what people are saying in this thread...some have even had sexual relations from beyond the grave. :giggle:

I bet she said "I didn't feel anything" hahahahahahahaa

Those stories above are gonna give me nightmares.

Don't like ufos either, even though I'm not a believer per se.

Ohhh that's like mine, I woke up when I felt the weight on the mattress next to me and saw the silhouette of a large man in the bed, I jumped up and put the light on and he was gone. Its the same shape I saw on my stairs alot but never saw him again after that night.

He sounds like a stalker and a perv....but I'm glad to hear your threats paid off after that night....what did you say to him exactly to scare a ghost? :giggle:

There is a god & all the dinosaurs are in heaven which is where all the animals go & where we will all go as well :)

another thing....I think I was 5 months pregnant at the time. I was on a ladder putting up curtains i think!!!
I could hear a strange raspy breathing sound coming from behind me. I think i heard it twice and each time it lasted for approx 3 -4 seconds.
Thinking it was a family member trying to scare me I shouted out...'very funny'. No reply.
A minute or so later, after hearing no foot steps or any other sound. I went to have a look outside in the landing, then checked all of the rooms upstairs -noone.
The others were siiting downstairs in another part of the house!!!!

maybe I attract funny characters, excluding hubby of course...lol!!!

But what about the lost souls?

I genuinely believe that people that have taken action into there own hands are lost i.e committing suicide means they died before there time, therefore, must suffer with the consequences of limbo.

Ahh don't be such a baby, I felt better that he got that release and left after than cos he was on my stairs for about 2 years

I said "OH ****ING HELL" lol

I'd say the same thing to you. :giggle:

Do you see how your potty mouth literally scares everyone though...it literally scared THE LIFE OUT OF HIM?

Make of this what you will......

A few months back i booked a room at Hartsfield Manor (a De Vere hotel), had a lovely meal out and headed back to the hotel. Went to sleep and all is well.......until.......I was being suffocated in my dream as I was being strangled by a victorian child!!!!

Now for the freaky bit......my girlfriend woke up and to her distress I had actually stopped breathing. She had to shake me vigourously to snap me out of it and then she said? 'You were being strangled by a child, wasnt you?' I was like WTF how did you know that? She didnt know. By this point we didnt go back to sleep!!!!

Now for the even freakier bit..........On my return home I decided to do some research on the net, and turns out that Hartsfield Manor is renowned for hauntings including Victorian children. Especially so for a certain room number which was next to ours. I dont bring this up too often and I actually have shed a couple of tears of fear whilst typing this!!!!!!
