the reason i got another 40 of her is because i was going to help her get rid of them.....

I have had a few of them, missus loves snails. (Wierd thing to love I know)

They are a pain to look after as they need to be kept warm.

Sensible thing would be to offer them to a zoo. There is zoo's about theres one in Anglesea that has these. So there is bound to be others.

Jesus, that looks bigger than my dog. let them go up the allotments!!!!!!
#12
Oh my god are they really that big and you have 35 of them :?

My advice is to either sell them to a french restaurant as they are great at looking after them or release them into a farmers field :w00t:

haha they run wild here too!

seriously though it had something to do with them destroying a massive amount of crops in america (i think) and they breed like wildfire, laying up to 1600 eggs per year :p so it would be extremely hard to control the population of them

Dorry Donna-lou but having a pet snail called Janet has just cracked me up, such a odd name for a snail! Mind you who am I to talk one of our chickens is called Paxo, which was great yesterday as 5 escaped onto the lane behind ours and the Mrs was running after them shouting Paxo, come on Paxo.

Later went to the shop and found chicken poop near the door so god knows how they they had gone! Hopefully you cant get fined for not picking up your chickens poop :w00t:

Giant snails, no way lol.. I had no idea anything like this existed.

They are damn ugly things though to say the least. Good luck getting rid of the little... big blighters!

I've got one already - mine is called Brian. You have to be careful though, they can have about 400 babies at a time!
It's illegal to even keep one as a pet in the US.

its illegal to release these into the wild, also they would die due to the temperatures being too cold for them
