I saw that footage on Fox news earlier in the week. Kids are awful across the globe.
#4
tbh i wouldnt have stopped it i might have lost me job!
#5
ooouucchhhh!!!!!
i cant take it looking at things like that
#6
Disgusting. And so sad. Is this what thousands of years of "civilisation" have brought us to?
#7
One of them tries to stop them puts his hand in front.
#8
That's awful!
I have no idea how those secrity guards can just stand there, it's common decency to intervene in a situation like this - especially if it's girls fighting as they should be easier to control (weaker) than men.
#9
Absolute shame on them.
I remember when i was little my mum shouting at my dad to stop the car, he slammed on the brakes not understanding and she jumped out to stop two teenage boys attacking another. She shouted and screamed at them and grabbed one to pull him off. They stopped and ran off. My dad never had a chance to intervene.
Yes I know times have changed but my mum was five foot one and 7 stone. We then took the lad to his home.
At some stage you have got to step in and help.

that is so sad I would have stepped in i would not be able to stop myself even if i would end up loosing my job

a very sad reflection on todays society,

about 18 yrs ago my m8t and me saw a man beating his girlfriend we went over to pull him off her both of them then started hitting us, we were able to run off mostley un hurt we fold the police thay sed leave it as they could say they were doing nothing and u 2 attacked them!

The youth of today can be viscious, and jobs are hard to come by. Why risk your livelihood over scum (the attacker).

But it is shocking, to see a girl getting her head stamped on, and no one intervening to help her.

Trust me its easier to break guys up fighting than girls/women speaking from experience working as a doorman. When women really get into it they are like a dog with a bone, they get crazy strong and dangerous, arms and legs milling around, and decency stops you just grabbing anywhere to drag them apart, guys fighting tend to just use fists so grabbing arms and using pressure points is easy.

at least 1 of them got the bag off the street

no , but i also couldnt watch someone getting beating up espeially when they start kicking them in the head... i know i wouldnt ignore it .. it is the type of person i am... I am a mother and i know how i would feel if my child was set upon and no one tied to stop it.

its absolutely terrible and in this day and age nothing surprises me!
i remember driving home after picking up my 6 year old and driving past the high school i worked in at the time and there was a big crowd so i knew what they were doing and even though we are told not to intervene i couldnt watch so i got out the car tried to part them (3 boys 2 on 1!) one did recognise me and stopped but the other was too far gone and i ended up with a cut and bruised face and hand just slightly but that was nothing compared to the boy on the ground who didnt stand a chance i got him into my car and took him home but on reflection i should have drove past as they could have had weapons or anything and i also had my 6 year old who was shaken and worried for his mum but on instinct i couldnt ignore it but from now on i do think twice.

Similar thing happened to me yesterday minus the beating part. Coming out of the shopping centre with a friend 10 or so people came over said dong make a scene what phone do you have so just ran off while my friend went to a security guard the mugger was wrestling him for his phone the security guard just watched ask if they were playing. Eventually when a woman started hurling abuse at him for doing nothing he 'intevened' by standing in the way. By the end of it we went out the other exit as they came in that exit he had a knife so we ran to the station, I jumped over the barriers to a ticket officer who helped the boy punched my mate right in front of CCTV as he scrambled to find his oyster card (doesn't have my ninja like abilitys) the ticket officer called the police and they legged it on a bus down the road tried to rob another friend who we were meeting and a nice manon his commute home pushed them away. Scum

I'd be upset too if that happened to me. What's the world coming to.
#35
OP, im struggling to believe that people on this forum are shocked by the footage.
this sort of stuff happens every day of the week!...and imo it was mere handbags.

The security guards have no obligation to break up street brawls, they are not the police!

Come on people toughen up ffs

i appreciate what you're saying but if it was one of their daughters being beaten up they would be greatful to anyone stepping in. I do realise how hard it is these days though with knives etc. Think i would be too scared to help but i would like to think i would.

 I was calm as any other day, didn't bother me in the slightest was scared for my iPhone, anyways I didn't mention when we ran he had a knife, people tend not to sympaphise because they hear it so often but it's different when your In the situation. If I didn't have my phone couldn't care less would have just ignored them, until I noticed the knife that is, but wasn't worth the risk of losing my much loved, perfectly customed phone
