So me and my GF have had a problem, she cheated on me when she was drunk Anyway she come to my house today to apolgoise. She goes to me "I never want to give you up, Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you" again and it was a mistake and wont happen again.

All i told her was "I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling", because I was pissed, I told her "I gotta make you understand". Blah blah blah more crap was spoken....

I told her to **** off and go home, she ended it with "Never gonna make you cry,Never gonna say goodbye", WTF (i think she was still hungover)

WTF Should I do...

Once a cheat always a cheat.. As they say. I've made too many mistakes taking back cheaters, and they've ended up doing it again. The old "I was drunk" line never works for me anymore
#5

do what you feel is right for you, nobody can tell you, only you know the way to go with this one. I know personally i couldnt get over it, i may forgive but i know i would never let it go, so for me no matter how hard i would have to move on without them.
#11
How long was you in a relationship with this woman?
#12
NOOOOO, silly, pretend its all ok, then wat u do is u take rudey pics n vids of her, post them on the internet then dump her, ul have more fun like this trust me
#13

Agreed

From personal experience I can safely say actions speak louder than words. If she really cared she wouldnt of cheated, end of! Save your loving for someone who will cherish it. You'll never be able to trust her again anyways so save yourself worry.
#17
So I should record her? I woudnt to that, shes too much of a good friend. Im just confused at the moment.

Im no stranger to love, I just want to tell you how im felling (because im really angry)!
#18
Tell her "goodbye" or
you know the rules and so do I. A full commitment's what I'm thinking of

Only you know what's right for you.

While on subject of cheating here's from an email I had other day,its called a Mastercard Wedding.

You got to love this guy... This is a true story about a recent
wedding that took place at Clemson University . It was in the local newspaper and even
Jay Leno mentioned it.

It was a huge wedding with about 300 guests.

After the wedding, at the reception, the groom got up on stage with a microphone to talk to the crowd.
He said he wanted to thank
everyone for coming, many from
long distances, to support them
at their wedding.

He especially wanted to thank the bride's and his family and to thank
his new father-in-law for providing such a lavish reception.

As a token of his deep appreciation
he said he wanted to give everyone
a special gift just from him.

So taped to the bottom of
everyone's chair, including the wedding party was an envelope.

He said this was his gift to
everyone, and asked them to
open their envelope.

Inside each manila envelope was an 8x10 glossy of his bride having sex with the best man.

The groom had gotten suspicious
of them weeks earlier and had
hired a private detective to tail
them.
for a couple of minutes, he
turned to the best man and
said, 'F---you!' Then he turned
to his bride and said, 'F--- you!'

Then he turned to the
dumbfounded crowd and said,
'I'm outta here.'

He had the marriage annulled
first thing in the morning.
While most people would have canceled the wedding
immediately after finding out
about the affair, this
guy goes through with the
charade, as if nothing were wrong.

His revenge--making the bride's parents pay over $32,000 for a
300-guest wedding and reception, and best of all, trashing the
bride's and best man's reputations
in front of 300 friends and family members.

This guy has b.... the size of
church bells. ( I edited that part out )

Do you think we might get a MasterCard 'priceless'
commercial out of this?

Elegant wedding reception
for 300 family members and
friends: $32,000.

Wedding photographs commemorating the
Occasion: $3,000

Deluxe two-week
honeymoon accommodations
in Maui : $8,500.

The look on everyone's face
when they see the 8x10 glossy
of the bride humping the best
man: Priceless.

There are some things money
can't buy, for everything else
there's MASTERCARD

What was the nature of the cheating?

A drunken snog type 'cheat' or a 'going the whole way rumpy pumpy' cheat?

The first type of 'cheat',whilst hurtful can ge gotten over,I'm sure, especially if you have enough feelings for one another. The latter will take a lot more work,it all boils down to whether you can forgive her indescretion and move on.Be honest with yourselves about your relationship, how serious are your feelings for one another, was there any reason as to why she cheated on you in the first place?

Never discuss things when drunk,it never solves anything, have an honest discussion when sober and evaluate where you go from here on in,and indeed whether it is worth it to do so.

Good luck whatever course you take.:)

Ignore my previous advice(what a load of twaddle it was!)

She needs to be told .........

"I don't believe that you need me
So don't say you do
There ain't no reason for staying
we both know we're through

So don't try and stop me now
'Cos all we had has gone "

Cheers,Shengis!;-)
