Girls wearing coloured tights...

I'm having internal turmoil...

A couple of my female colleagues wear *very* brightly coloured tights. Even when speaking to them, looking them in the eye, I'm very aware of something brightly coloured going on down below. Instinct tells me to look, courtesy tells me not to.

Would it be so wrong to just look at what's so brightly coloured?

guessing your a man:roll:

Nothing wrong, as long as it's just the coloured tights...

Could use it as a conversation starter, or the beginning of an office romance/flirtation.

thats a case for sexual harassment:w00t:

I'm sure I'm not weird, but I'm sure I'll be damned for admitting this!

Yes, I'm a man. Don't get me wrong...it's not just tight-related. In winter in London, loads of girls wear brightly coloured wellies. I'm forever seeing pink blurs as people trudge past me...the eye is immediately drawn to things which look so incongruous!

have a look...

cop a feel...

they might like it, either way your a perv, may as well go all out ;-)

We had this conversation in the office earlier...but if a guy came in wearing red trousers - for instance - everyone would be checking out 'red trouser guy', cos it looks odd. Why should girl colleagues be permitted to wear such high/unusual fashion if they don't want/expect it to garner attention?

Not if they enjoy it

It's all about timing. If you look down towards their legs for a long time and start drooling then you might find yourself in front or a tribunal. However if you simply glance, look back up and smile, saying "nice tights" before walking off then you might find yourself in luck: "the ladies" like compliments.

On the other hand, you could glance at their legs and say "PURPLE TIGHTS?! HOW OLD ARE YOU?!?!?!". :)

...and they'll say "I'm not wearing tights - those are my varicose veins m'love!!!"

lol - seriously if they are wearing brightly coloured tights in an otherwise drab environment then its because they want to make a statement and shouldn't be offended if you say anything. Go for it!

for looking at someones legs :p

We had a discrimination course recently in work and you'll be amazed at the kind of things than can lead to cases...some were quite obvious like a guy who had sent over 300 e-mails to a girl and because she had never sent any back he carried on. At the tribunal he said he wasnt aware she wanted him to stop because she never told him to. Fair point but if you send that many e-mails without a single response you'd kind of give up wouldnt you? :whistling:
#15
If you get in trouble you could always have this response in your arsenal: Cool tights! Where can I buy some?
#16
Ok to look not stare, as long as your tongue is at least a couple of feet away.

A friend of mine was asked to attend a disciplinary hearing because she'd "slammed her draw aggressively" which had upset one of her colleagues...

It's okay, you're supposed to look. I think that's the point. I won't stand up in court and say that though...

Stuff like that...we we're in shock at some of the things that can be taken to a disciplinary hearing these days.

You have the right idea Sir BAL; a gentleman would naturally avert his gaze from anything below the waist.
I think the age of chivalry is dead though; feel free to gawp.:-D

maybe but people have been in trouble for less, they should be able to wear what they want without being gauped at (did I spell that right?) especially at the workplace. I would agree that its ok if its someone walking past you in the street but not someone you work with everyday:thumbsup:
