Why not check out the demos on the xbox live marketplace? There's lots of games to try out on there; least manly ones imo would be Harry Potter, Kameo, Lego Star Wars 2, Ratatouille, Shrek The Third and Surf's Up. Don't know if they're any good, but you can always try them for free. Also, Viva Pinata is great.

It is constuctive, when someone asks for "Girly games on the xbox 360" who better to get an opinion from than a woman, with an xbox 360 and the game someone previous suggested!?

It's incredible, I've played through it like 10 times now :)

errm, girly games.... depends what your after, platform, puzzle?

heres a few that my sis would be interested in: Sonic, lego star wars, tomb raider, fuzion frenzy (quite good), surfs up and perfect dark zero- because your a girl, and you kill everyone (girl power?)

Hope that helped :)

Some clarification/explanation wouldn't hurt - not everyone has the same taste.

Tomb Raider Legend?

There was a playable demo on the main Eidos site.

Supposedly girls like Tomb Raider games?

I don't really see any games being particularly for any sex,but maybe thats just me,I'll play almost anything except strategy,or least the ones my partner plays on here like Total War etc I don't care for.

I suppose I'm after games where there's not a big story line to follow or something that you need to get really involved in... I have a cheeky two year old so just something I could mess about with then drop when I needed to :)

Thanks Mum2Connor&Cerys :)

Table Tennis is quite good, has offline multiplayer, simple concept, dirt cheap and good fun. Lego Star Wars is the same, unlimited lives so you can't really die, plus it has drop in/drop out multiplayer.

While we await some description of why Becksdawe hated Viva Pinata, it does fit your request - there's no real aim or purpose to the game, you basically have a garden you can change and maintain as you want. Depending on what you do with your garden you attract various Pinata - for example as you start you need to dig up all the rubbish your garden starts off as, turning it to earth. This attracts a worm like Pinata, if you breed these little pinata then it attracts a sparrow type pinata. Grow some carrots and it will attract some rabbt type Pinatas, grass for snakes, water for swans etc.

My approach was to try a little of everything which ended up with a fairly chaotic garden and pinata which kept fighting with each other. My brother went for a much more ordered garden which was efficient for breeding a certain Pinata to allow him to level up more quickly. Some of my female friends seemed to like making attractive water features, going more for the look of the garden rather than attracting certain Pinata.

The graphics are very bright and colourful with the Pinatas themselves detailed and well animated, I think it's an entertaining game just to watch in action.

There's no real right or wrong way to do anything, it's always easy to get money and plenty to experiment with. The only annoyance is that it can be tricky if you're wanting to level up quickly and get access to the biggest garden and exclusive Pinata. Also, it can be somewhat frustrating if you've managed to lure a rare pinata into a garden only to have someone else eat it :(

I'm absolutely not saying it's for everyone and I can see why some people don't like it however there is a free demo available and it's reasonably cheap to buy.

And Becksdawe does not have to justify her opinion. Other than to say - the kind of games I like may not suit the OP and visa versa.

to be honest maybe you need a wii?

there are a lot of "mess about" games and also serious games. it's a great pick up and play console.

lol do a homer.

remember in one episode when he buys marge a bowling ball only to use it for himself?

maybe you can do that this xmas!! :-D

also they hold their price pretty well. if you dont like it then you can sell it on ebay and you'll probably only lose out on £15-£20.

theres still a national shortage. with its popularity its highly unlikely that nintendo will price cut. its still selling like hot cakes.

The 360 sales were dropping hence the price cut.

also with xmas coming up, people will pay up to shut up their kids.

I'm not saying you have to justify it - saying that you hated the game is not much use to anyone because we have no idea why. It could be that you simply don't like the style of game, you feel the control system is better suited to a mouse or it should be more goal directed. But in three posts you've managed three generic statements with absolutely nothing about the game itself or any of your gaming interests which might indicate why you dislike it.

Bioshock!

It will scare your husband making him buy you a Wii....its a win win situation, but dont turn around in the mist unless you actually want to scream and hit the floor quicker then a bedpan....like me

Bomberman is goodfun in the live arcade, as is Super Puzzle Fighter HD - which initially looks like the old Street Fighter 2, but is in fact a Tetris type clone - you have to 'build-up' as many of the same colour blocks as possible and wait for explosive blocks (of the appropriate colour) to drop to detonate them - the larger the number that you then detonate and combo together, the larger the 'forfeit' number of blocks that drops on your opponant!! This is then reflected in the background, with the SF characters fighting each other!!

It all sounds a bit crazy, but is really quite entertaining - i'm waiting for some more microsoft points to arrive, before I purchase the full game!

Lol had bioshock preordered for him and he completed it with in 2 days as well as fitting a new shower and tiling the bathroom (my superman :P) I think that's the kinda game you need to follow and I'd be **** at lol It was good to watch though :)

Being a girl gamer myself, I like all sorts of games. I loved Gears Of War, but liked Viva Piñata just as much; I would recommend getting this if you like fun easygoing games, it looks great as well! I'm playing Bio Shock and Guitar Hero 2 at the moment, both are great games!

Kameo is good also, but I haven't managed to give it much time yet. I would also suggest Overlord; it's a bit like Pikmin on the Game cube, very witty and also easy enough to follow. I'll think you'll get on ok with Tomb Raider it's not as challenging as the earlier games.

I would download the demos before you buy games though, it gives a good insight into how they play and you'll pretty much decided whether or not you like it playing it enough to buy it!

I would also leave off buying the Wii for the moment, having had one myself since launch; I have only played one game on it, which was Zelda. The games are just not there for it at the moment, saying that, My Sims comes out on the 29th of Sept and it looks fantastic! It might just be the reason to get one!

Hope my waffle has helped in some way!

Can't think of any games that are particularly "girlie" apart from Viva Pinata.

GRAW2, Gears Of War etc are a good, Do you like racing games?
