I ran away the first time lol - went with my mum when I was 18, took one look and scarpered !! However I did have to go back to pick her up, so decided to be very brave, donated then, and have gone back two or three times a year ever since .... I just think I'd want it to be available if I or one of my family needed it, so the least I can do is donate mine now :3

Just find it strange that they would allow heterosexuals and not homosexuals? Or does it all boil down to your sexual past no matter what way you swing. I suppose it all come down to honesty then if you have to complete forms about your sexual history.

Not sure I agree with giving blood.
It's a difficult one. Personally, a loved one or I need it and I'll probably be all for it. But if you remove emotion from the equation, where do we draw the line in terms of prolonging life?

Surely you could apply that to all medicine.

Exactly. Which is why it's a difficult decision as to where to draw the line.
