I just missed the resale last week and have been checking twice daily since then. My order went through about 30 mins ago and I have already got the confirmation. Probably only any use if you have already registered as last time it took 24 hours to get the registration code back and was sold out by then. That said who knows whether they will have another mini release or not?

Total cost for a single ticket including all fees and postage is £184.50. If you have ever been you will know this is actually pretty good value for the 5 days of widely varied entertainment on offer.

Very hot! This could make someones day, i know a few people who couldnt get through for the last batch.
#2
Why people mark things like this cold I will never know? Maybe they are bitter because they hate the idea of people having a good time when all they have in their lives is sitting at home trying to ruin HDUK.

The last time this was posted gave me a heads up to check as I thought I had really missed the boat. Only by coming up in today's hot listings can it really be noticed by people who may want to go.
#3
Voted hot cos this will make someone's day. All ticket heads ups are hot cos it beats the touts.
#4
ignore me!
#5
Great festival, even better if you can avoid the mud! Hot!

For the odd times it happens, a dry Glasto is unbelievable. Even the muddy ones are fun though, plenty of tent stages to chill in without getting soaked. If all else fails just drink cider till you don't care

The first time since 2003 i won't be there :-(:-( six month old baby has put an end to my glasto days...for now

Problem is that misc isn't looked at by most people so won't help in a quick, short re-sale. Oh well, some people seem determined to make sure this doesn't get enough rep to be hot so looks like it will barely be seen anyway.

The voting on here cracks me up. Personally I only cold vote something if I can show a better deal or have had a personal bad experience with the company or product. If it is outside of my interest I just leave alone as it could help someone else. Many people seem to agree that this could easily make someones day, but too many "Flamethrowers" seems to be more keen on putting out fires.

They are the only seller this year so you have to deal with it

Agreed that they are poor though, shame that touts mean things have been so restricted.

A deal isn't just something that is cheap, it can also be down to things like availability, quality of product, etc. If you can show me somewhere else with these in stock or at a cheaper price then I will happily concede that this isn't the best current deal for people wanting to go to Glastonbury. If not then maybe you should think about others rather than wasting your life trying to red tape deals you personally aren't interested in.

I would point out that a similar thread didn't get cut down for not being "a deal" last time it was up, neither have deals like those for Blur tickets and other events at full price but limited availability. Similarly people have been happy with "deals" for full price Wii's, Wii Fit's and DS's when they have been difficult to find. What constitutes a deal for one person may be things like stock, not just price. But well done for getting it out of the sight of those it may have been useful for :santa::gift::stocking::whistling:

as you stated your self these are the only seller at full price

It was pulled by the mods probably as it isnt a deal

And I quite like festivals and live music actually - just like I like things being in the right category.

I can see your only trying to get info to others as these were hard to come by but this isnt the case this year as its still not sold out - other years they were gone in a matter of hours and Miss Eviss will only put a load of ***** rap on again and ruin it forever

no hard feelings ;-)

The problem is that you are wrong on the situation as it sold out months ago now. Last years didn't sell out till the day, but this one is well gone. As such their availability constitutes a deal for people who want to go and have spent the last two months thinking they had missed their chance.

These tickets are a limited release of the ones that were returned to them for a refund by their optional return date (10th May). As you cannot tout the tickets, the organisers allowed people to return them for a refund until early May. They released a few the other day that went very quickly, these only came on this morning and will probably be gone now

Having gone to Glasto every year since 2000, tickets have been hard to come by every year apart from 2008. Numerous websites have helped me out in the past, bit gutted that a lack of understanding has prevented me helping out more people on here.

As stated, numerous similar full price "deals" have been very popular on the site due to lack of availability. This is clearly in a similar vein to these full price threads:

Glastonbury:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/399129/glastonbury-tickets-now-back-on-sal/

Wii Fit:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/266284/wii-fit-in-stock-at-john-lewis-69-9/

Blur:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/294827/blur-presale-tickets-45-booking-fee/

Personally I think you are a bit misguided, availability is more important than price for some deals. Just being available can make a deal hot, but clearly in your opinion posting where you expect to see things is more important than helping members. If you can explain what is so different about my "deal" than the above then fair enough. If not then clearly in your opinion no deals based on availability should be posted, I hope you don't get stuck trying to get hold of anything hard to come by :whistling:

getting a little tiresome this

Any posts that just supply info that a certain business has a certain product is not a deal in my opinion it is information only and as such need to be put in misc just as the mods did (people still can see it there you know - it is still being allowed on the site )
If it was glasto tickets 1/2 price fair enough but glasto tickets on sale same price as usual from same retailer - a deal? , I think not

Take it up with the mods if you think your so right - they are the only ones that can move it

to be fair this should be in deals in my opinion anyway, these are very sought after tickets, and although it didn't sell out as fast as it did, this post was great to let people who missed out know they were back on sale, it wouldn't get the exposure it should hidden away in misc.

Just my thoughts, as i said i can't go for the first time in 7 years but if i hadn't got them in the original sale this post would have been a great help.

Given that they have most probably sold out again now I see little point in troubling a mod. The only reason I am replying to you is because your attitude to this has got my goat a bit. To me the worst thing on this site is the ability to negative vote. You often see perfectly good deals that disappear because of negative voting from people who 1. Don't understand the deal, 2. Aren't interested in the deal, 3. Have a vendetta against part of the deal (e.g. footy related or gaming fanboys) or 4. Just want to degrade posts that aren't their own to make up for issues in life. Today you have shown me number 5. Voting cold for posts that appear in what someone deems to be the incorrect section of the website

At the end of the day the ability to vote means that the best deals will always rise to the top. Every deal can't be a Dell Netbook for £70 or a King Size bed at 1/3rd price. Fact is that "deals" based on availability have been on here time and time again. They clearly have interest for a number of users, the ones I linked too were just the three that I had ordered from. To try push something that is extremely time limited and may be of interest to a reasonable number of members into a hidden corner is really inconsiderate. Most people just use hotdeals.com as their link and all that brings up are the "hot deals".
