Anyone noticed since global warming has really been pushed the last couple of years EVERYTHING is costing more??

Is it just a world wide conspiracy to rip us off?

yes.

an article in the paper today (it's in the Sun, so it must be true!) reckons that the oceans are going to cool over the next decade and they reckon that this will counteract any global warming. Link

so yes, it's a con. although i do believe in the principles of switching things off (TV, PC, water, lights etc)

I think the best way to counter global warming etc. is to make gift cards about being kind to the environment and sell them in Tesco.

lol....I agree!!

Its also means we have to increase duty on all fuel, so the government get more money to spend on projects that help the environment, such as wiping out large amounts of people in other countries, our own troops and the residents, so as to wipe out these peoples future carbon footprint

Yes. Unfortunately most people have stupidly been sucked in and we're now paying the price while the third world is starving because food crops have been ripped up to grow bio-fuels. God I hate the eco-fascists who make up our government. Let's hope they get a good kicking at the polls today.

Global warming is just an excuse for the goverment to get more money off hardworking people. They waste money paper pushing the issue thus needing more money to justify it!

and now there saying Bio-fuels are BAD for the environment!!

Of course we can't use Hydrogen power though, as the government kick backs they use to help stop pollution, wouldn't be coming from Esso, Shell and the like as those poor, poor companies would lose money

dontcha know, its called climate change now that proven new evidence is showing that the earth has actually cooled over the last 10 years.

its just a great excuse to invent new taxation methods.

The day Al Gore cuts his $50,000 electric bill for his house down to what i spend, then I might actually believe some of the lies.

Then again, I might be paying that in 10 years time if the energy prices go up again as is predicted (another 35% this year!).

Yeah, it's cold in warrington today, so global warming doesn't exist.

i am totally eco friendly, this computer i am using is powered by my own foot pedal, i dont use any deodrants or other such products which harm our fragile world. i barely flush the toilet when i go, thats if i even use a toilet at all, the number of looks you get whilst squatting over a drain in the road, i mean you'd think it were wrong..think about it, with the amount of rain we have had it will soon be gone! i believe in global warming and so i do everything i can to avoid contributing, it basically results in me having no friends or life as i smell and embarass people at every turn, however that is a small price to play for saving the planet. naturally i will be taking my 6 litre 4x4 home tonight, its amazing what you can afford when you dont buy things like toilet roll and deodrant and you dont go out much!
