Food is bland and overpriced. Most of it tastes as if its been either microwaved or deep fried from frozen. But, the same could be said of most chain restaurants.

I absolutely love it! Ive been a good few times and ive never once been let down. They have an excellent 3 course lunch menu too. Portion sizes are good too!

I quite like it. If you have a party of 4 or more and you book a table you can get 2 courses and a drink for £10 which is a bargain considering some of the mains cost more than a tenner! Info on their website :)

The chilli is nice but ya don't get much!

Bad experience.

Went to one for a birthday of a close friend just after Xmas, prices were through the roof, waiting for around an hour between each course, when the food arrived it was only warm.

In the end, the manager (who didn't show up from his 'office') knocked the desserts off the bill - still passed the ton mark though!

One of the worst places I have EVER eaten in.

Avoid like the proverbial plague!

Very poor, have only been twice.

first time, service was poor, food was tepid and bland.

Filled in a survey, got £20 voucher as an apology so went again.

Was worse the second time.

NEVER again.

Yeh i gota admit that its pricey , not worth it.
#20
Pricey "tex mex" food, not too bad if you have vouchers, but its your typical fast food affair of a place with hiked up prices for what it is, similar really to Nandos.

Pricey and the wait times are stupid, had a starter and main course, we were there for 3 and a half hours. we complained and the manager gave us free deserts and coffee's, only then at the end of the meal they charaged us for both deserts and coffee's and then applyed a 50% off, meaning that we still payed for our "free" food. outragous. never going again.

AVIOD!

Last time i went, about ten years ago, i walked out without paying! Sat for about 40mins at the end of the meal waiting for the bill. Asked our waiter several times as he passed and he would smile and say its on its way. Eventually got up to leave, walked passed our waiter who smiled and wished us goodnight, and walked straight out!

Surely if you got 50% off everything that was a better deal than just free desserts and coffee?

I love they place, have never had a problem and gte offers from the all the time. Always get seated quickly and never wait long for the food. Every place will be different as they are ran by different people. Your just going to have to go and see for yourself:thumbsup:

Chain restaurants, hmm well yeah, as you can see from most of the comments its not favoured very well. I personally hate them, uncaring chefs and cooks, mediocre food, and over priced and is at best an under par dining experience in comparision it makes a Beano's cafe look like haute cuisine.

a tenner for a two course meal and a drink( cocktails included!!!!!) aint bad though!!
its gotta be better than a macky d's, SURELY.....:-D

I'm going tonight with 18 others, £10 each, I'm driving so that includes my drinks all evening with free refills.

Not expecting much but at these prices it should be decent value.

I have to agree, unless you buy fajita's alot of the other chicken dishes are bland and tasteless. Again I think the place is overpriced for what you get... Can't beat abit of Nando's imo :)
#35
Well worth £10 IMO, not terrific authentic Mexican but great value and a fun evening.
#36
well i went and i really enjoyed it, loved the food so did every1 that went with me, and the atmosphere was great, a good start to a blinding night!!!!

oh yeah, and the cocktails were to die for!!!!! which were included in the meal deal for a tennner, excellent value for money.

point is, the coffees and deserts were not ment to be on the bill in the first place.
so if the meal came to £100 then add on the coffee and desterts say £50 we got charged £150 then 50% was taken off.. so we payed £75. when instead we should have only payed for the mains which should have come to £50.

after the above experiance I do go again with a group of freinds, we took the £10 deal, 1 drink, starter and a main. we then got charged an extra £10 each because the fajita's were cooked on the grill??
we spoke to the manger and told him that we will only pay £30 all in, as the service again was terrible and wasnt told that the fajita's were not part of the deal, evan though we showed the waitter the voucher we had. for some reason he didnt evan point out that they are not coverd by the voucher

shame you didnt have a good experience but mine was all good. It does say on the small print of the voucher that the deal does nt include anything from the 'grill' or the 'To share meals'. we also went as a group, about 16 of us, everything went smoothly, maybe its just that restaurant!! (but i guess you prob wont go again!!)
I would reccomend the lamb shank dish that was delicious!
