Hi there, Anyone beat to a house auction. How are they like. Can you view the properties beforehand or on the day what you bid is what you get if successful.

Anyone been? How is it

when a bid catches your attention why not shout HOUSE
you check house out before auction

get details from auction house and arrange a viewing - should really get a survey done as well - lot of money to be paying out if you havent done your homework
you can view properties beforehand but if you are the winning bidder on a property you have to put a non refundable deposit down and the remainder has to be paid within 30 days.
Hi, I bought my first house at auction 12 years ago, it was a great experience and also scary!! Make sure you have a good look round the property before you bid and find out everything you can about the house and area, make sure you read the legal packs that come with auction property as these can hold vital information, also you will need to take to the auction a letter confirming you can have a mortgage and how much for, on the day if you win you will need to pay a 10% deposit and then the house is yours, you have 28 days to complete the mortgage and sort out the contracts.
