nope, what does it involve exactly? ie, cost, time etc etc

Just got back this week. Was the first time I'd been, so I have probably seem the things you have.

I will say the best part was the Stratosphere Insanity Ride and Big Shot! Have you done either of them?

We have done all the obvious stuff like, helicopter tour, grand canyon, hoover dam, have seen most of the shows and free shows etc, rides at the stratosphere, freemont st.

Just wandered whether people have found or done things maybe off strip or just different ideas which arn't advertised as much.

We always use www.dialaflight.co.uk for all our flights and hotels.

Were stopping at the wynn but have previously stopped at luxor and mgm.

When we went a few years ago we hired a limo and got the driver to take us up and down the strip at night. That was a nice experience for a few quid.

we stayed at Treasure Island in May......it was awesome and an added factor that they are not part of the MGM chain of hotels....superb view of the strip in our room :-D

Wow! That hotel did look stunning..... It's only 2 years old. The buffet in there was the best meal with had, besides Outback!!

Stayed at the Luxor last week. Like the fact that it is at the end of the strip, and not in the middle.

Have fun ;-)

The Wynn's older than that, it was there when we first went about five years ago.Saw La reve there, very good. Is the star trek attraction still at the Hilton? Thats a good half a day out.

You could go to the gun range which is a couple off miles of strip, you can have a go at firing some guns like the dessert eagle and you get to keep the targets you shoot.

What was the name of the specific place?

Sounds quite good.

Been to both the gun stores mentioned above.

The gun range staff were far friendlier than the gunstore, but you did not get to load your own weapons there, which they allow you to do at the gun store. For that reason I recommend going to the gun store.

Go-karting here was great fun. Have more than 1 race though, as it goes by really quickly.

Have you been to Lake Mead? That's a good way to spend a day, hiring a boat etc..

Hire a car (see my post above for a bit more fun, or just goto Enterprise for a regular motor), drive to the reservation and drive around it, stopping at the various marina's and stuff.

It's a good way to get away from the Strip for a few hours.
