as the title says.
what i need to know is can i buy a decent digital camera over there for a much better price or is there not that much difference in price?
there was one on here a couple of days ago for £100, a samsung nv11 i think,
but i would prefer one with aa batteries and sd memory,or is the nv11 a steal compared to my link below?
also what are those argos digital camera deals for about £100 like, the ones that say they are half price, like this one

i hope that linked
anyway, theres a few argos special offers around the £80 to £150 mark that i could stretch to,also because i have about £60 in argos vouchers,
so if anyone has the time can they advise me of the best argos deal in that price range or am i better of buying in the u.s?
thanks in advance guys

I saved about £70. A third off the uk price for my canon. I would recommend you buy a US one only if there is a particular model that your after. Otherwise just stick to a UK model.

I got the canon powershot 850 (Called something different in the uk). It's reviews suggest that its the best one for the that amount of money. However the warranty is only US!

anyone else have any opinions on those 'half price' argos cameras or on my other questions?
anymore advice,
or whether the prices are any better in new york, than you would get here on hukd etc?
