Sunny and calm in N.I. but it was very wet and stormy all night.

We were battered over night here in "Sunny" Bournemouth. Kids toys blown all over the garden. Seems to have started up again now.

Unfortunately, I can't decide not to take the kids to school. Getting umbrella's & wellies out as we speak.

Rain and 7C in Milton Keynes.

Lucky I can work from home

I can't abide this british obsession with 'a bit of weather'.

Its rainign and a bit windy... big bloody deal. Like a few people said after the kwerfuffle over the 'earthquake' a couple of weeks ago:

"God help us if we ever have to deal with a REAL disaster".

I went the Boat with my parents occasionally and always played down by the river and canal as a kid. My drinking haunts were in Leek really during my heyday. I actually lived up by Folly Lane so inbetween Wetley Rocks and Cheddleton. Nice to say hello to someone local. Are you originally from there:?

Still rain and wind hear, but not as bad as this morning.
Moved hear 5 years ago nice to say hello to.

I know,we in Scotland never make a fuss :-D it's just a way of life for us.......i'm sure when i was little, I rolled my easter egg down hills and it was snowing .lol...:w00t:
Although the other side to our weather, not much fun for the kids,my hubby runs footy club and they have played 3 matches out of 13,because of pitches water logged.....

Just ordinary gales last night and during the day - so no excuse to avoid travelling to work. But it is really hotting up now - stuff is crashing about in the garden. Wild and woolly here in N.Cornwall.
