OK, so i've been looking at a GTX for a while and the XFX one for £164 is a bit hard to resisit. However, the problem comes from i don't think it will fit in my case because ive got IDE cables in it. Does nayone have a GTX, and what case do you have?

Or can anyone recommend me a caseunder £60? Thanks

Can't you just re-route the cables or move them out of the way? Sounds like you have a motherboard layout issue... not a case issue! Post a pic of your computer with the side taken off..

yeh the cable managment is ****... im not sure how much clearance there is bewteen the RAM and the gfx slot

Assuming your RAM is above your PCI-E slot, the card doesn't go any higher than the slot.. When mounted the cooler is under the card... You shouldnt have any problems with the placement of your ram unless it falls inline with the PCI-E slot.

Try the coolermaster centurion 5, solid, spacious, toolfree, well vented best case i ever had (still have)
U can pick em up for under £30 sans psu now, take a look at scan and sign up for the av forums to get a free delivery deal(u may need to spend some more)
ps make sure its the 5 dont go for the 530 or 531 not in same class at all
