Good deeds.

I was reading the girl Bible earlier (Cosmo magazine) and it tried to tell me that doing 4 good deeds a week will make me feel happier. I'm not convinced but the magazine full of pretty shoes and handbags said it was true, so it must be. Maybe I'll try it.

Anyway so...when did you last do a good deed and what was it?

Last good deed I did was today when I took on someone i know as a client free of charge to assist her with her debts.

pay it forward is where you do something good to someone and tell them to do something good to someone else. paying the good deed forward.

last good deed i did was today in tescos i gave a lady £1.37 so she could take her shopping home (she was just short in cash)

What i am trying to say is, if they are influenced to do deeds by a womens magazine, they can also be influenced to do stuff by watching a movie, so are obviously not led by their own ideas.

I do get from the OP that they are mocking cosmo themselves

to answer the question, I was a volunteer for a charity for around 8 years, and gave many evenings time, and only gave it up last year as I was neglecting my own stuff too much.

I'm easily influenced into doing anything...

I don't think I'm a very good person. The last thing I remember doing is giving a pregnant woman 10p so she could park her car.

I think I might hang out next to some roads and wait for old people to come along.

I helped some young kid yesterday he was trying to hold 4 or 5 pairs of bowling shoes but couldn't reach the counter so I helped put them onto the counter. (No need to rep me for me jesus like behaviour :p)

A lake wasn't forthcoming. Things got a bit heated when i asked for a tip though.

If you need to get your good deed ratios up, just follow old people about until they fall over (or are tripped, ahem), then p-p-p-ick them up. WIN.

A couple of days ago I confiscated a load of fireworks from some youths who were setting them off and acting like yobs on a bus. This could qualify as theft but I see it as a good deed :D

my last good deed was by accident, I was doing the weekly shop and the cashier asked if i was collecting the money off vouchers.. i thought she said school vouchers  so I said leave them for the next person in the queue.
She looked at the scruffy guy in the queue behind me, and laughed... its still a good deed tho :-D
