If only there was some warning that xmas comes around this time of year, you could of saved up

I haven't had a chance to save up, never had any spare money

Can she take a hint though! x

The picture idea is a good one. But try not to be so tight with your budget, especially for your Mrs. I know it's the thought that counts and all that, but if you wanna see a GIGANTIC smile on her face on Christmas morning, then go all out.
#9
Its the thought that counts.I would rather something for £20 than nothing at all

I could probably stretch to £40 tbh, everyone else will end up with poundshop gifts though :p

Girls love photo things so framed picture is good. My gf loves personalised mugs with a picture of us on it. There is the photobox offer for a free one you should check it out

A girl of 24 jumped off the Brigde of the A50 today by my house. The reason-because she couldnt afford to buy her kids any xmas presents.Shocking really. But moral is as long as we show love we really need not stress over xmas. Now the kids dont have a mummy why are people so stupid

I'm sure there were other reasons, if she loved her kids that much she wouldn't have killed herself and left them without a mum. Santa could have just broken down and brought them another time

Probably were other reasons.Apparently she tried it yesterday aswell.Should of given her more help if she feeling this suicidal. The whole of Stoke on Trent was manic due to the A50 being closed for over 4 hours

A person who is ill enough to throw herself off a bridge isn't thinking about that, only "well" people will think said person is selfish.

Seriously thats the kind of money my kids spend on me (or ask me to choose a pressie for) last year they they spoilt me and got more than i said, but this year I said no more than £20 each, so I gave them ideas of things they could afford and I would like, No.1 was a bracelet to go with the Swarovski ring they bought me for my birthday, it means so much to me, second i said maybe some perfume, elle by ysl is my favourite, and third I just asked them to use their imagination for new gloves and scarfs for the Sunday football! Just some ideas from my boys with a similar budget!

A pampering massage or facial voucher?
#24
Sometimes Amazon have some nice stuff, what kinda things does she wear,earrings/necklaces?

Why don't you go on buyagift.com and buy a photoshoot day where her make up and hair gets done professionally etc for her or pampering day that's on there? It's a bit different and us girlies love stuff like that! Failing that if she is a thrill seeker then maybe a bungee jump!! Few ideas I guess =D only around £15-£40 too!!

do you mean that's the kind of money YOU give your kids to spend on you!! OP is asking for help with ideas not to get rubbished for how little money they have to spend, christmas is not about money or gifts, it should be about spending time with loved ones, shame so many parents teach there kids it's all about the presents!!

Digital photo frame, fill it with pics of you both.

A dvd, fondue set & a bottle of wine should make for a least one good night in for you both... better still buy a cheap box set of dvd (2-3 films) Plus for £10 you can pic up a sex in the city perfume giftset look nice and smells quite nice (bodycare & tj hughes sell the set)

Hope this helps

If you spend carefully you could get a few gifts for your money that would look quite good eg
personalised mug that someone mentioned earlier free with £1.99 p&p
http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/revlon-9445u-illuminated-double-sided-mirror-03828482-pdt.html £6.99 using currys voucher code
maybe a very cheap cd or dvd at bee.com using this £5 off code FREEBEE5

You could manage to get all this stuff for £10.....if i think of anything else i'll let you know

OR with the telegraph on saturday there is a £5 bodyshop voucher with no minimum spend, it would be enough to get her a small stocking filler
