I'm looking to take advantage of the Waterstone offers.

So, can anyone recommend a good spy thriller writer/book?
I've read most of Robert Ludlum and Fredrick Forsyth and am looking to read something else.

Thanks.

I usually don't read that style of book but you could look here for a list of
authors and titles.

This book has a good write up:

Ian Rankin is quite good? He wrote Rebus on TV.

A J Quinnell - wrote Man on Fire and the Mahdi which I've read and thought them good books....

Earlier Alistair MacLean books are good. Clive Cussler is okay....
