Goofbay: Invasion of privacy?

agreed?
for those of you that know what goofbay is, to do with ebay sellers.
You can see what ebay sellers have bought, feedback ratings, what they have sold and even how much money they are making! Surely this isnt allowed as how much money you are making is confidential to some people.

How would they know how much money they are making? Do they know what price they purchased items for?

all it does is link to the searches you can perform on ebay itself in the advanced search section, or find a member etc.

Unless you have something to hide, the issue is? It's all info that can be gathered anyway!

me and a mate were seeing who could make £100 out of a tenner and we can copy what each other buys easier with this tool. He brought this up and i though i'd see what everyone else thought but i didnt think about it on the scammer side of things to make sure you arent selling low value items then all of a sudden selling the higehr value stuff.

Its great for scammers I agree, but annoying that nosey gits that know your ebay id (friends and family) can see what ££ make and buy, but then again I am one of them nosey gits myself
