Hi

I'm buying a new PC, manily from ebuyer, as they are the cheapest with google checkout. I am buy each bit separately to get maximum cheapness.

Do you think there will be any problem buying all the bits for a new PC on at a time through google checkout from the same supplier? I think google states somewhere that this type of behaviour would be frowned upon

Could they withdraw the discounts?

Anyone done this soft of thing without probelms?

I'm not doing it all on the same day but spreading it over a week or so.

Thanks

Pete

Personally I doubt you'll have problems, I've done the same myself. By spacing the orders apart they can't really have any complaints - but if you want, for example, 2 lots of the same memory, I'd order them a day or so apart. Don't forget to look at Aria and SVP as well for parts (they both also do GC discount) - Google obviously can have no complaints about multiple orders from different merchants!

Worth remembering that ebuyer states its £10 of every order over £30 - its google themselves who have been emailing for misuse, and this appears to be only in occasions where people have been taking the michael slightly (ordering multiple lots of the same thing on different orders a few minutes apart).

So google are e-mailing buyers about this then?

Have orders been cancelled / discounts refused?

AFAIK a few people have received an email but orders haven't been cancelled - more just a "don't do it again" sort of thing. I think if you spread the bits apart a few hours you'll be fine.

Thanks. Plan to order something every few days so hopefuly should be OK
