Didn't think they could do that. I use my iphone sim in other phones all the time and I've never had a problem.

Ring them up?

o2 always know what phone you are using. Whenever i put my sim in another phone, then go to the o2 site for settings etc, when i put my number in it ALWAYS brings up the phone im using even though i haven't told them. Must be when ever the sim is moved to another phone it sends out a message with the phones info.

Probably detects the IMEI and therefore they'll automatically know.

Can't really ring them up. I want to use it in my Viewty. :-(

I messed up big time by trying it for the second time on the k850i. I had tried before and it wouldn't let me connect so I took it out, but my curiosity got the better of me again and I tried it again after fiddling with settings. It must have been me moving it back and forth that did it - or because the phone was originally on 3.

Stupid, stupid, stupid me! Had no reason to try it other than curiosity. :-(

hey, unfortunately you wont be able to get much help with that im afraid.. because you have taken your sim out of the phone they have removed the web and wifi bolt on which you got free and have added you to the o2 web bolt on which only gives you about 200mb with no wifi...

if you have an iphone then by all means, give o2 a call and they shouldnt have a problem with getting it changed back but only if you are using the iphone cuz they can check off your imei..
