Thanks Blackster. Stayed in Agadir. I wouldnt recommend the hotel we last stayed in as it was full of french people. But there are many hotels to choose from. They have there own currency which is very good on the £ they also accept euro. The beach is magic it spreads for ages and its clean. All along the seafront there are resteraunts, cafes all catered for at reasonable prices. Late all inclusive deals can be got cheap and other than that if you decide to choose your own hotel flights are reasonable to. There is hardly any rain your not far from the sahara desert. People are friendly and clothing for your kids can be got quite cheap as well. It is a country where you pay what you think is right for the product just like Egypt where you have to haggle with the price. We plan to go there again this year but with a bit more heat under the sun. Anywhere from May is good.

Hi I would give it a miss as a family holiday there is very little to do for the kids and everything is extremely over priced, we didnt find the locals to be overly friendly either.

Gran canaria is great if your going just as a couple and want to drink all night and sleep all day.
Have you thought about marmaris in turkey, theres loads to do in the way of trips and such, the locals are super friendly and love kids and its pretty cheap when you get there. If you do decide to go make sure you ask for a hotel low down as all the hotels in gran canaria are up hills and it can be a long and tiring walk every day if your right at the top.

Theres also bulgaria we are going back this year with or 10 and 1 year old its similar to turkey but not as many trips to do.

On the other hand what is one persons ideal holiday isnt always somebody elses and I'm a big beliver in giving anything a try once.

Hope this helps.

Well, to agree with you on your last statement. One persons ideal holiday isnt always somebody elses. Bulgaria is the in thing for 2008 as for Turkey been there its nice enough but would still rate Morrocco over it. As for kids we didnt take any but i think unless you take them to somewhere like disney they get bored no matter what you do. Especially if you just want to top up your tan all day long.

Tenerife is fab - Los Christianos lovely - Princess Da'Cil Hotel 3* half board - wonderful. Lots to do in Playas Americas if you want life, otherwise usual boat trips etc

Last year took our 2 young children to Mallorca - Santa Ponsa lovely - children thought it was fabulous - loved the train, boat, tram island tour - wonderful. We'd go back every year if we could!

Go on google earth and explore:)

We looked at morroco but wasn't sure dont know anybody thats been and I like to know a little about a place before we try. Guess we are lucky with our 10 year old hes easily pleased as long as theres water around so beach holidays are great for him and a big pool at the hotel, we've done disneyland twice and he hated all the walking and its long days in disneyland. Would like to know more about morroco though as we are hoping to try some where new in september. cheers.

For the last six years we have been to Puerto Rico in Gran Canaria with our four children and always found plenty to do. Unfortunately the apartments we stayed in are under refurbishment but there are plenty to choose from. :)

Well it will be sunshine all the way in september. Cost us £400 each for flights, accomodation all inclusive for 7days . From the hotel we stayed at was called Le kasbah we didnt have any knowledge really of the hotel it was fine. Apart from the language in Morroco is mainly French. There are 4-5* hotels that are more catered towards british. There is one i have my eye on for this year called the Atlas it is literally a 2 minute walk on the beach from the Hotel it has 3 seperate swimming pools. Rooms look very pleasing. A mass of a beach, watersports, fishing trips, as mentioned the seafront is full of shops/resteraunts. Qaulity fake designer clothing, perfumes, sunglasses can be purchased. In town which is a taxi fare away they have like a indoor supermarket not to our standards but you can buy gold, cheap mobile phones, designer watches etc. There is some kind of childrens adventure playground opposite the beach area including i think water slides. Plus although we didnt visit a British pub. There are guided tours that can be done however we just went for the sunshine. Transport is cheap if you use the yellow taxis however if you require a bit of extra leg room and comfort mercedes are usually widely used as a taxi. Where they get the money from to buy these i dont know lol. No matter where you go i have found you always get the odd begger asking you for money. As far as bargaining for prices remember practically everything is fake so if you seea dior pair of sunglasses and think there worth £70 there not even worth £7. T shirts like Quicksilver and nike can be got for less than £5 each.
