Not expecting this to get hot but wanted to share an alternative deal for anyone struggling to make the HMV '3 day deal' on GT5.

Personally, I have F1 2010 on order from Zavvi but am unlikely to receive it until early next week. So my Plan B is as follows:-

- Order F1 2010 from Zavvi for £22.37 (net of 10% Walkers code)
- Trade in at Argos for £30.00 (a £7.63 profit)
- Order GT5 from Blockbuster for £32.99 as per post already on site (still available as ordered this morning)

The big upside is that GT5 will effectively cost you £25.36.
The obvious downside (before anyone else points it out!) is that you've outlayed £55+.

Personally, a good deal with anyone who'll have use for a £30 Argos Voucher and with xmas around the corner, that'll do nicely for me.

Have some heat from me. I always like alternatives!

This is the one game I'm missing as I'm an xbox gamer, and the one big reason why I'd buy a PS3...when and if I ever get enough money together! I've loved all the GT's, I've played.

Are the prices on the Argos website definitely up to date? Looking at Fallout New Vegas at £32. I got it with COD Black Ops on the Game deal so essentially paid £29 for it but haven't even opened it yet. Would like to trade that and get GT5 instead but am amazed that Fallout is still at that price given how much its being sold for now

It has a little asterix next to "Gift Voucher Value" on the Argos site and if you scroll down the asterix denotes "subject to change"
