hmmmmmmm......... dunno like :?

depends what a little chip is, if it a scratch then game can fix it. it its like a deep scratch then they cant fix

gamestation have something instore, they do it for you, I think they charge £2. Not sure how well it works though. Good luck :)

Gamestation definitely do this, but i think it gets rid of surface marks at the most. Is the game actually playable atm?
#6
no not at the moment, i would say there is about a one millimetre of a chip into the cd :(

Best thing to do would be to go in and ask gamestation what they think. Tbh i think they just stop some skipping that can happen by cleaning off the surface marks etc. not too sure if a chip would be salvable.

Depends really, if the chip you mean is from the outer surface of the DVD then providing it doesnt "eat" into where the data goes out to on the disk you would be fine, holding the disk to the light you should be able to see a slight shadowing of difference to be able to determine how far out from the centre of the dvd to the outer reaches of the disk the data goes, if this chip is inside where the data is pressed to there would be nothing at all you can do, no scratch repair would mend that.

Some of the big game companies will swap out discs for a price. I think EA charge £10, don't know what Rockstar will charge. I'd check the back of the instruction booklet.
