Has anyone esle had problems with this company.

I bought something from them for the first time about 2 weeks ago. Paid and have waited ever since for my order, today I decided to chase it up got my reference number and sat at the phone trying to talk to someone. I didnt get through...

I then went online to email an enquiry and found out that apparently i have a profile with them, so when goingnon that find my order cancelled. Since they have my phone number, snail mail and email I don't think its out of the question for them to send me this information and maybe a reason why my order has been cancelled but yet all I get is a small cancelled section on my profile that I didn't even know I had. No explanation or anything.

Grr I'm so angry as this order was for a present.

:x

Btw the item I ordered showed as stock when I ordered and still does show in stock, so they don't even have the excuse of it being sold out!

Home shopping catalogues sometimes do that,I've had it in past. They won't write to you or phone you to say an item been cancelled and expect you to log into your account online for latest info.If you paid for it at time of order, have you not received a refund yet? Get on to them via their website contact customer services and ask for refund, phoning up most places you generally on phone ages and get fed up on hold - I know I do!

I just recieved an email saying they have cancelled the order as the card details were wrong. I've replied by asking if they were wrong wtf have they taken money out of the account *grr* They told me to try again, like I'm gonna do that when they havent refunded me for the first time! I am not happy! I will hound them if need be, stupid catalogue.

Someone remind me never to shop with them again lol

Yeh they can be hard going sometimes home shopping catalogues. When I was a child I used to take home shopping catalogues off peoples steps - yeh mad I know but my Dad wouldn't dare have one in house, sure you can order and pay it off the following mth but he said well then you might aswell pay less in shops.I think he was more concerned about keep ordering with them and then the amount you owe runs up. Quite easy to if you have a few things then they tempt you with an offer of buy now pay 6 mths later then you forget then 6mths come in you owe that and whatever else you been getting each time leading upto the 6mths. I just liked looking in the catalogues thats all,so spate of books missing off doorsteps in early 90's that was me!

When we where small my sister and I used to cut the rings from the jewellery pages in Mum's catalogue and wear them! :giggle:

It kept us quiet for ages - cutting the centre of the photograph out and then slipping it onto our fingers without ripping it!! :w00t:
