Children from deprived backgrounds who have also been emotionally starved are most at risk. The adults are the ones who are to blame. If they were not out to exploit there are lots of ways that they could have informed care authorities that the kids were at risk.

They all live in Britain. They all know what is acceptable here. They will all know what is illegal here also.
They had no regard for the welfare or well-being of these young girls, they took advantage of a vulnerable young person in the most despicable way. They all knew what they were doing when they repeatedly drugged and raped these girls.
Ignorance is not an excuse.

I guess its hard to strike a healthy balance between independence and over protecting them.
I don't think any blame can fall on the children or the carers.
What these men did was exceptional circumstances, authorities just need to learn from it.
I am hoping that there is closer monitoring of groups of men having "unusual" relationships with teenage girls.

There may be important factors that explain why the bigger networks have been largely Asian. Nonetheless, it is crucial to remember that these cases do not paint a full picture of this crime. If on-street grooming continues to be reduced to the big Asian networks alone, a whole host of other offenders will get overlooked.

It seems our children are being used as replacements for first cousins/donkeys and goats. Not many Goats round rochdale. Plenty of white skanky young girls though.
