frustrating - i thought that was one of the reasons women had smaller fingers to thread the needles

doh!!!!

must stop thinking out loud

get a needle threader from your local haberdashery, like a little silver coin with a really thin wire hook thing attached - makes threading needles a breeze

Mellow Yellow
poke the wire through the eye of the needle
place about 2-3 inches of the thread through the wire
pull the wire back through the eye with the thread attached
once it is through the eye then remove the "silver coin"

I think it's a man.

He probably stopped trying to cram string through a needle when a woman came along and told him how to do things properly.

did you remember to insert a matchstick under the button whilst you were sewing it back on then taking the matchstick out and winding the thread round it to make a shank so the button is loose and this allows for the button hole part of the material to sit better? :whistling::thumbsup::p
