Post all GTA IV Cheats, Tips & Hints in here (I know there is another GTA thread, but don't want it spammed with information that not all players would want to see !)

Grand Theft Auto IV Easter Eggs The Heart of Liberty City
First, you'll have to have access to Happiness Island. Once you're able to go there legally, find the Helicopter Tours (which is directly east of Happiness Island) and steal a helicopter. Fly to Happiness Island and over the Statue of Liberty, then jump out of the helicopter at the statue's feet. You should land on the topmost tier of the statue, which is basically a square platform with a door in the center of each side. Run around the platform until you see a door with a plaque on either side of it that reads, "No Hidden Content Here." It may seem like you cannot go through the door, but you can-- it doesn't open, you simply walk THROUGH the door. Inside, you'll find an empty room with a tall ladder. Climb it, and when you reach the top, look up; there is a gigantic beating heart, held in place by chains.

Grand Theft Auto IV Secrets Easy money

Go to an ATM, then cause a traffic jam to the area. Wait for someone to take money from the ATM, then kill him or her. Make sure to block any nearby roads so the ambulance cannot get to the murdered victim. Take the money they dropped on the ground. Then, run a short distance away, and go back. The money should have respawned on the ground. You can repeat this as many times as desired. You can also kill more people taking their money from the ATM to increase the amount of money that respawns.

I hear if you cheat you cant get 100% in the game
#8
Why cheat? Does that not ruin the game and make it too easy?
#9
If you use the cheats then you can't get the Achievement points plus whats the point of buying this game if your just going to cheat??

Whats the big deal in getting achievement points? Do they have any useful purpose in the game or are they just for fanboy bragging rights?

Yes they do have a useful purpose, If like alot of people who my not be able to afford a game every week they add a extra challenge and replay value to the game which makes it last longer, Whats wrong with bragging about getting achievement points if you do something thats pretty hard to do in a game then you deserve to brag about it so cut the fanboy **** because by the sounds of it your the real fanboy here.

What an absolute juvenile diatribe that was!

Anyone can afford a game each week if you buy at the right price and then put it on ebay. I normally make a profit from each game I buy. :whistling:

I take it that you either own a PS3 or are not very good on the Xbox360 if your slagging off achievement points, Maybe you sell your games every week but I like to keep mine and replay them whenever I want so not everyone needs a new game every week alot of us like to complete the game 100% rather than spending all our money on a game to just play it once also I like to play online so if I sold all my games I couldn't play online:p
#15
Anyone confirm if these work?

Achievement hors are funny. You see them playing kiddie games like Jumper or Barnyard for an easy 1000 points.

but if you are playing a game that is just no fun at all, just because it gives easy points ...
#20
I prefer not to use cheats as it does ruin the edge of the game for me, but then thats my choice not to use them :-)

I am getting there nicely with the game and still enjoying it plenty.

Agree, Trying to complete a level on C.O.D without firing a shoot or only using a certain weapon or playing through Bioshock without getting killed all adds a new challenge to the game thats why SONY are thinking about adding achievements to the PS3 which will be good because i'll buy more games for my PS3 because I like the extra challenge, Score *****s who are buying games just to get some easy point either have too much time or money but it's their money and their time so they can do what they want.
#22
How about completing the game without cheats, then having a play round with them - I assume this would not remove your achievements ?
#23
:)if you want some cash without cheating just steal an armoured car and blow it up,loads of dosh, just do it somewere secluded or the cops will come and get you.:)
