Like a few of you on here I bought the guitar hero world tour game (solo guitar pack) for the ps3. I figured I already had singstar mics and the guitar from guitar hero 3, so I would buy the drums separately. I have since found that these are not sold separately yet. I notice on the box that the game came in it clearly says (on the back near the middle) also expandable with a second guitar controller, mic and drum kit each sold separately.
how can they print this on the product when the statement is false, do we have grounds for returning the game because if I had known I would have bit the bullet and bought the full band pack.

Cause you can buy the kit without the game seperately. You don't have grounds for returning it I don't believe

no it says each item sold sepertley on the box, the drums as most of you will know are not available seperatley so it is false advertising.
#3
They will be though, not sure when but I suspect soon enough, otherwise yes you probably would have grounds for returning it.

I am not sure you are missing much.

we got the complete set and the drums are just so damm hard compared to the guitar.

eg. on easy guitar you basically have 3 colours
easy drums - you have 7 colours, you have to play them (hit, not just tap the drums) and you get a lot more notes too. its a good work out I can tell you. Makes you appreciate what drummers actuallly have to do.

its not for me, i got the set for my lad for christmas, i said he could have the drums for his birthday (he really wants them) his birthday is tuesday next week, now i am stuck trying to buy drums that arnt available. my only option is returning the product to argos and getting the full band pack. not my fault the packaging led me to think i could get the drums for his birthday.

It's 6 actually, 3 large drum pads(red, blue, green) 2 more above those aligned like cymbals (orange, yellow) and also purple for the kick-drum.

Your right about it being hard - taken me muchos hours to work my way upto expert standard. The kick pedal being the toughest to implement into your playing.

I found the drums 1 or 2 levels harder than the guitar in relative terms: as in I was playing guitar on hard, but was initially playing drums on easy/medium. What a workout.

I think i'll just stick to the guitar then lol x x

get off ebay? or buy a drums pack and sell the game?
#9
i dont want to get them off ebay because i have read the drums have had a lot of issues and so i get the feeling many will be palmed off on ebay. if i take the set i have back to argos and upgrade its down to them if my drum kit is faulty and so much quicker to sort.

Drums rule! - if you havnt already get the drum tuner and cable from activision, my kit is now 10X better than the RB one :-)

I reckon most who moan about the drums playing up/not recognizing hits are lightweights.

Had mine since launch, no probs from my viewpoint - just gotta put your arms through them properly.

I've had 200+ note streaks on hard mode so I should know what I'm talking about.

If your having to use mallets to get your drums to give you a 200+ note streak then use the drum tuner from activision to adjust the sensetivity then you can use a little less force and begin to enjoy drumming...

Try deal extreme, they always sell the dance mats, guitars etc.. I just bought the DS Guitar adapator from them to go with my "downloaded" guitar hero game. :whistling: They may have the drums soon.

Yes it does, i purchased the official guitar hero one, its exactly the same box and same inside that you would buy in UK just comes without the game inside. It also comes with an adaptor to make it fit the old DS. Comes with instructions, stickers etc. Its fab
