Yeah there are loads of bad Emails regarding Paypal at the moment.
The Emails look exactly the same as the proper Paypal Emails, so everyone thinks there has been a transaction.
Always check your Paypal account first before clicking any Emails.

Edit: Also the Emails will say "Dear Paypal member", whereas with proper Paypal emails, they will say your first and last name.

+1 and send the email to [email protected] so they can investigate.

Hi there, i had the same email it was for SKYPE and it said it was an unauthorised transaction and to cancel it immediately so silly me...i went along with it, it looked so realistic i signed into what i thought was paypal normally and entered my name,address,D.O.B, my bank details and clicked cancel transaction..then i didnt receive any email from paypal stating that i had cancelled anything so i automactically got the feeling it was a scam i felt like a right silly xxxxx, i was at my bank within 5 mins i emptied my account then cancelled my card and ordered a new one, then come home and got onto paypal they has not heard of anything so i changed all my paypal details..email and password and stopped the thieving scum bags from taking any of my money but it was very scary so please beware!!! x x

Nice, care to expand on the story at all?

ive pretty much said it all, it was nothing to do with an email, i recently sold a fair bit of stuff on ebay, and after all the transactions had gone through someone hacked my account added an american bank acoutn and removed all my funds, i rang paypal, they put a block on it and have now refunded the money to my acount

emptied my account now so no more stealings gonna go down
