Well i thought I would try and save some money and try a new hairdresser where I could have a Cut and Colour for £30 but I had to go to the bank machine and get some cah out as they did not take cards, But O/H rang me on my mobile and I managed to leave to money in the machine. went back 30sec later and challenged to "Chav" at the machine to give me the money.... needless to say he said he did not have it. OH had to drag me away as he thort I was going to floor him !!!

I'm so peed off I have hit the red wine and I know I will regrat it in the morning :-(

The money does get retracted back into the machine after so long..approx 20-30 secs...so you stil may be lucky. Go to your local bank and they will get the cashpoints statement and it will show how much was retracted and when and if it adds up you get it back...hope thats the case and not the chav taking it.

Which hairdressers (name and location) dont accept credit or debit card payments? Even if there is a cash machine next door, they should be fighting competition by accepting any form of payment the customer chooses.

awww hon

Check tomorrow and see if you got lucky with the money being retracted back into the machine.

If so you can have a little giggle about the poor guy you thought stole it lol

Better luck next time with the hairdressers.

I spent over 100 quid getting mine dyed red in January ( I'm a blonde ) and it didn't take well, just looked a reddish blonde really. I went back and they redid it a couple months later, no base to the colour, and wow it was RED this time lol

Go back and see if they'll tidy the cut up a little if you arent happy with it xxx

LOL

Just called the general line number 0845 7555555 and they say that

if the money never came out in the 1st place then the amount should show back in my account in 48 hrs.

if the money came out and then was retraced back in then the same as above would applY BUT ..... not all ATM machine do retract the money after 20-30 sec and they can not tell me if that one does.... so watch this space .......

:?

Hubby said in the great scheme of life £50 is £50 so dont worry about it...... I tend to agree really as we have other more important things going on in our lifes than losing some money :-D

dcx_badass
This happened to my friend and halifax got him to fill out a form and he got his money back.

Anyways I know how you feel I left my wallet on a bus on saturday, with about £60 in and my student ID was a nice wallet aswell was at 12:30am and there was only one other person on the bus so I was really hopeful for it, but no joy. :(. So screw karma, whenever I find something I always hand it in, but what's the point if the one time it happens to me I'm out of luck.

Yeah like Wise... will just have to keep my fingers crossed

I hope you get the money bach hun. Sheeeesh where do you live though? A haircut on it's own for me is £40 colour is £60 on top.

I normally go to another hair dressers where a cut and blow dry is normally £27 and I really like the way they do it but I thought I would try this other place and could get coloured too for an extra £3... wish I had not bothered as dont even like the way they have cut it !
