What a shocking place this is,placed order on the 22nd dispatched items on the 24th and i'm still waiting for it to come less than 100 miles. Now i've never used these muppets before and after this i won't be using it again.Anyone else have the same problems with these??they use a delivery firm that doesn't even have a contact number ffs

halfcost is 1 of the best sites - prices are brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it does say deliver 7 - 10 days - i have had orders delivered within 3-4 days -

customer service is excellent - best ringing 6 o clock!

marks & spencer is the worst and they dont tell you an item is out of stock until you get an order!!

Have ordered from them once or twice. They're not great for having things in stock, or refunding out of stock items. Packing a bit pants too (big box with loose items rolling around). But I've always been happy with the items, especially at those prices.

I ordered from these for the first time a couple of weeks ago & then again a week later & was delighted with their service! Maybe you've just been unlucky this time?

I have to agree with the 3 above. Good prices for good products, mine was del within a week. Perhaps the blame lies with the del company!
NOBODY can't beat orange for the worse costumer services they are SHOCKING

Double negative?

I have had loads of orders from these all year round and only had problem once when they had a system problem. I think sometimes the delivery firms wait until they have a few in the same area. Don't cut your nose off to spite your face lol as the prices are good.

Well finally had a reply to the email i sent them, seems the 4 set of lights i ordered are missing now, they never said this on the phone yesturday when i spoke to them. This has really knackered me up now,i deck the outside out and i add to it each year.So cause these were cheap i ordered 4 sets and the cash i had set aside for this years display went towards some extra decs, now looks like i may not be getting my rope lights.

Thank you for your recent e-mail. sorry to hear your parcel has not yet been received, this is quite unusual and at this stage we will have to assume that your parcel has gone missing. As you have not received your parcel I have forwarded the details to our parcel investigation team. They will be able to assist you further with this and they will contact you via the post shortly.

just saying what i think off them thats all and from the service i've had from them it should be alot worst

Just off the phone to these and there now saying there lost and they'll send a form out in the next 7 days for me to sign to say i've not received the items. Now they said i can reorder the items but i'd have to pay for them even tho i've paid once and they've been lost. Now i don't have a clue what these are like normally but i think it's a disgrace that they expect me to pay for items i've already paid for to have them sent again and then i've got to wait for a form to come and sign and then wait even longer for my money back.Anyone any advice on this please, could i contact someone like trading standards about it??

Thanks for the reply,i rang consumer direct yesterday and they told me the same thing,i did get a call last night from someone called darryal from halfcost.I explained what consumer direct told me but he didn't care what they say but i've got to abide by there rules. He said they've got to investigate where the parcel as got to,then they've got to send me a form to sign and send back then they'll look at refunding me,even tho consumer direct inform me i don't have to sign any forms cause it's up to half cost and there delivery firm to sort it out between themselves .So consumer direct are funded by the gov i guess yet they don't care about that and have there own rules.Well i won't be using these again and i just hope other people who place orders with them never have a parcel that goe's missing cause you'll struggle getting a refund.I did see a post on here a few weeks back and someone posted it's hard to get a refund
